Meaning:

An on-line change of protocol was attempted for a port, and there is 
a conflict with the LP and or port parameters already configured. 
This is usually the result of a database change having been made, but 
not implemented (by on-line update or re-IPL) before the on-line 
change was attempted.

Action:

Review the updated database parameter values, change them if 
desired, then update the port by pressing 

[F7]

 or re-IPLing the node.

LP “n” Not Responding to Status Requests

Severity:

1

Meaning:

The LP is not responding to periodic status requests sent by the 
FRX8000 software.

Action:

Replace the LP.

424.

RLP Status Polling  Stopped Due  to  Response Error

Severity:

1

Meaning:

After several attempts without a response, the software has stopped 
polling the LP identified in message 423.

Action:

Replace the LP.

425.

LP  “n”  Port “n” Enable Request Failed

Severity:

2

Meaning:

A request was sent to enable a port that is not recognized, because 
the protocol configured in the Port record is not installed on the LP.

Action:

Configure the LP record to install the protocol specified in the Port 
record, or configure an installed protocol on the port.

Received Port Disable Request

Severity:

1

Meaning:

Some problem has caused the user device to send a request to disable 
the port.

Action:

Check the device to determine what the problem might be.

Received  Port Dump Request

Severity:

1

Meaning:

The BSC device has experienced a problem that caused it to send a 
request to send a dump to the port.

Action:

Check the device.

432.

LP  “n”  Port “n” Node Under  Remote Control

Severity:

4

Meaning:

An operator at an INM or NMP has taken remote control of another 
FRX node connected to  the  network via  the specified LP and  port  in 
the remote node.
