Subscriber Parameters
Subscriber Name
identifies the subscriber to the console operator. The FRX8000 software does not use
this information.
Routing Algorithm
allows creation of a “hunt group” of ports, for the purpose of routing per a pre-selected
algorithm:
0
=
Round Robin
– selects ports specified cyclically in numerical order according
to the list of Redirection Addresses. If the selected port is unreachable or con-
gested, the Call Request will be sent to the next port. (If the port becomes
available again, it is included in its assigned position.)
1
=
Line Failed
– selects the first port that is not in a failed state. If the selected port
does not make a connection, the call is cleared, even if other ports are available.
2
=
Line Busy
– selects the first port that has LCNs available (is not busy). If the
port has failed, the next available port is selected.
If use of a routing algorithm is not desired, simply accept the default, and specify only
one routing path.
Systematic Redirection
redirects all calls to the alternate subscribers specified by the Redirection Addresses.
Consecutive attempts at call redirection are made to each alternate subscriber in order
of the index numbers, until the call is completed.
Redirect on Busy
redirects calls according to the Redirection Addresses if the primary subscriber device
is busy.
Redirect on Out of Order
redirects calls according to the Redirection Addresses if the primary subscriber device
is out of order.
Bandw. Alloc. Group
is a method of prioritizing outgoing traffic over trunks. Each IP and IPX network
interface, SVC Subscriber, and PVC is assigned to a bandwidth allocation group
