Cumulative Statistics Parameters
Report to NMP
determines which ICP/INM/NMP will receive the file.
Time Interval
is the period over which statistics will accumulate. When the interval expires, the
totals will be sent to the ICP/INM/NMP, the timer will be reset, and accumulation will
begin again.
Cum. Stats. On/Off
determines whether or not statistics are being gathered.
Statistics File Creation
When statistics data is sent to an ICP/INM/NMP, it will be added to a file named
CSTAT.DAT. (If the file does not exist, it will be created; if it does exist, the data will
be appended to it.) Once the file size exceeds 1MByte, the file will be closed and saved
as CSTAT.DAT.BAK, and a new CSTAT.DAT will be created to hold new data. When
the “new” CSTAT.DAT reaches 1MByte, it will be saved as CSTAT.DAT.BAK, a new
CSTAT.DAT will be created, and so on.
The maximum file size for CSTAT.DAT can be changed, as described under
“
Changing the Cumulative Statistics File Size
” on page F-3.
