If changing values on line, press
[F1]
after completing the changes, to
update the temporary record. If you enter a value, but change your mind
before pressing
[F1]
, press
[F2]
to cancel.
Reloading Configured Thresholds
If on-line changes have been made to statistics thresholds, you can reload the values
configured in the database without disrupting operation. Press
[H]
at the Statistics
Menu (or
[F], [H]
from the Main Menu). When prompted, enter:
●
Statistics level
:
N
for Node,
L
for LP, or
P
for Port. (Default is
N
.)
●
Node ID
:
1–250
. (Default is the local node.)
●
LP number
(if requested):
0–7.
(Default is
0
.)
●
Port
(if requested):
0–63
. (Default is
0
.)
Clearing Maximum Statistics Values
Statistics displays show the current value for each statistic, as well as the maximum
value it has reached since the last time the node was rebooted or this operation was
performed. This operation allows you to set the maximum values for a particular node,
LP, or port back to zero. This is helpful if a threshold reached an unusually high value
that is not reflective of normal operation.
Press
[E]
at the Statistics Menu (or
[F], [E]
from the Main Menu), then enter the desired
level and IDs. The maximum values will be cleared.
It is usually less tedious to perform this operation in the
Graphics-level Sta-
tistics Displays
(described on page 20-26).
