CUG/Group Send Parameters
Preferential CUG Flag
specifies whether the port belongs to any CUGs.
Preferential CUG Index
is a default Closed User Group for the port. Any calls that do not specify a CUG will
default to this one. A new record has CUG 0 specified here; this is not a valid number,
and signifies that the subscriber belongs to no CUGs.
Incoming Access Allowed
determines whether this port will be allowed to receive calls from outside its CUGs.
It is a CCITT requirement that a user allow incoming access to all or none (but not
some) of its CUGs.
Outgoing Access Allowed
determines whether this port will be allowed to make calls outside its CUGs. It is a
CCITT requirement that a user allow outgoing access from all or none (but not some)
of its CUGs.
Logical Port Parameters
Mapped DLCI Number
is the Data Link Connection Identifier, a routing ID that assigns a frame to a particular
logical connection. This ID is used only on the local link.
Make sure no more than one of any interface type (logical port or
frame relay IP/IPX/LLC2 interface) is assigned the same DLCI.
Connection Priority
allows setting a priority for this logical connection relative to others on the physical
link; the higher the number, the higher the priority.
Encapsulation Method
is the method by which X.25 packets will be enveloped for transmission over frame
relay.
0
= RFC1490 (standard for interconnecting non-frame relay devices over frame
relay)
1
= Annex G (ANSI T1.617 standard for interconnecting X.25 devices over
frame relay)
Bandwidth Allocation Group
is a method of prioritizing outgoing RFC1490 traffic over this DLCI. Each logical
X.25 port, IP frame relay interface, and IPX frame relay interface can be assigned to
a bandwidth allocation group, defined as described under "
Configuring Bandwidth
Allocation Groups
" on page 8-2.
