A trunk can go down as a result of a break in the physical con-
nection, or because the neighboring node has a problem.

Level 2 has dropped, and the trunk process was notified
that the trunk port is no longer operational. This can be
caused by a level 2 link recovery attempting to correct a
line failure.

Trunk was taken down by the routing process because the
remote end did not correctly acknowledge the routing
packets. This usually means that the trunk has stopped
passing data in one direction, so the node that detected the
problem brought the trunk down.
