Converting N7000 5.0 Database Records
Certain database files (described later) contain parameters that differ between records
for an FRX8000 node and a Nucleus 7000 (Release 5.0) node. Updating an N7000 to
be an FRX8000 requires a database conversion operation to change the incompatible
parameters.
One or all nodes can be converted at a time. After that, the changes will be imple-
mented at the node(s) in the normal way (also described later).
1. Press
[H]
at the Node Operations Menu (or
[B], [B], [H]
from the Main Menu).
2. When prompted, enter your low-level operations password.
3. When prompted, enter the node ID, or press
[Enter]
to convert the records for all
nodes. If you press
[Enter]
, you will be asked if you really want to do this. If you
do, press
[Y]
. A file named NOD.CVT will be created, showing the results of the
process.
