X.25/X.75 Parameters
DCE Restart Timeout
is X.25 timer T10, which is started when the logical DCE issues a Restart Indication
(containing cause and diagnostic codes), and is stopped (and reset) when a Restart
Confirmation or Restart Request is received. If the timer expires, the DCE will issue
another Restart Indication and reset the timer. If the timer expires a second time, the
DCE may issue a diagnostic packet.
DCE Incoming Call TO
is X.25 timer T11, which is started when the logical DCE issues an Incoming Call, and
is stopped (and reset) when a Call Request, Call Accepted, or Clear Request is
received. If the timer expires, the DCE will issue a Clear Indication and reset the timer.
DCE Reset Timeout
is X.25 timer T12, which is started when the logical DCE issues a Reset Indication
(containing cause and diagnostic codes), and is stopped (and reset) when a Reset Con-
firmation or Reset Request is received. If the timer expires, the DCE will issue another
Reset Indication and reset the timer. If the timer expires a second time, the DCE will
issue a Clear Indication.
DCE Clear Timeout
is X.25 timer T13, which is started when the logical DCE issues a Clear Indication
(containing cause and diagnostic codes), and is stopped (and reset) when a Clear Con-
firmation or Clear Request is received. If the timer expires, the DCE will issue another
Clear Indication and reset the timer. If the timer expires a second time, the DCE may
issue a diagnostic packet.
DTE Restart Timeout
is X.25 timer T20, which is started when the logical DTE issues a Restart Request, and
is stopped (and reset) when a Restart Confirmation or Restart Indication is received.
If the timer expires, the DTE should retransmit the Restart Request.
DTE Incoming Call TO
is X.25 timer T21, which is started when the logical DTE issues a Call Request packet,
and is stopped (and reset) when a Call Connected, Clear Indication, or Incoming Call
is received. If the timer expires, the DTE should send a Clear Request.
DTE Reset Timeout
is X.25 timer T22, which is started when the logical DTE issues a Reset Request, and
is stopped (and reset) when a Reset Confirmation or Reset Indication is received. If
the timer expires, the DTE should retransmit the Reset Request or (SVC calls only) a
Clear Request.
DTE Clear Timeout
is X.25 timer T23, which is started when the logical DTE issues a Clear Request, and
is stopped (and reset) when a Clear Confirmation or Clear Indication is received. If the
timer expires, the DTE should retransmit the Clear Request.
DTE Clear Re-xmit Count
is the number of times a Clear Request from the logical DTE will be transmitted. (The
DTE will stop issuing the request on receipt of a Clear Confirmation or Clear Indi-
