The address specified here must also be configured in a
Subscriber record
(described on
page 9-14). In that record,

must be configured as the node containing
the interface, the RLP configured for IP, and port 64. (All other parameters can remain
at the default values.)

The address specified here must also be configured in a
Subscriber record
(described on
page 9-14). In that record,
1st Routing Path
must be configured as the node, RLP, and
X.25 port that will be used for the physical interface. (That RLP does not need to be the
one with IP installed.)

specifying
0
means that the DLCI is not assigned to a bandwidth allocation group.
Specify
0
for Bandwidth Allocation Group only if
0

for all connections on the same source DLCI; otherwise, allo-
cation will be unpredictable between assigned and unassigned
traffic.
Maximum Transmission Unit
is the maximum size (in bytes) of the data field that can be used to encapsulate an IP
datagram for transmission over the interface. Any IP datagrams larger than the
Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) will be fragmented, resulting in additional pro-
cessing on any intermediate routers or gateways, as well as the destination host. If the
