Information in this Display
In each row:

The column following
RU
(Routing Update) contains one or more of these:
I
indicates that the source node has an IP network interface
N
indicates that the source node has an operational NMP
O
indicates that the source node has completed IPL (and is ready for
PVC setup)
X
indicates that the source node has an IPX network interface
S
indicates that the Routing Update packet contains serial number
information
●
The next column contains the node number and the number of neighbors. (A
neighbor is the next node in a path.)
●
The next column contains a sequence number.
●
Each remaining column contains a node number and data transfer time in
400ths/second.
To exit the Line Monitor, press
[F]
to stop the display from scrolling (assuming it is
scrolling), then
[F3]
. (Stopping the scrolling first is not always necessary, but allows
quicker access to the software when
[F3]
is pressed, especially from an ASCII
terminal.)
