Configuring SNMP Parameters
To configure SNMP parameters for the FRX8000 node, press
[B]

[C]
from the
Node Selection Menu (or
[A], [B], [B], [C]
from the Main Menu). When prompted,
enter:

= SNMP System Defaults

= Community Parameters

= Trap Parameters

= Model (hardware chassis)

Any other requested information, as described in the following paragraphs.
System Defaults
System defaults are entries that will be included in IPL messages to the SNMP agent,
and will be stored for access via the MIB. Changes to these parameters can be made
either in this record or through the SNMP agent.
