Configuring IPX

Configuring IPX Interfaces
An IPX interface allows the Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX) protocol to be exe-
cuted over an FRX8000 frame relay, X.25, Ethernet, 802.5 (Token Ring), or network
interface port. (N7000 nodes do not support IPX routing.) The IPX function is used to
connect an FRX8000 to a Novell NetWare network. If this node will be running IPX,
press
[B], [A], [C]
from the LAN Interfaces Configuration Menu (or
[A], [E], [B], [A], [C]
from the Main Menu) to configure an interface. When prompted, enter:

1–250
. (Default is the “local”
node.)
●

●
Any other requested information, referring to
Table 15-6
. (Press
[Enter]
