NMP shut down
Severity: 4
Meaning: The INM/NMP has been shut down, per operator request.

Load failure on LP “n”
Severity: 2
Meaning: During IPL, the LP did not load.
Action: Re-IPL the node. If the failure persists, contact Cabletron Systems
Technical Support . (See page 21-7.)
28.
LP “n” does not respond to parameter message
Severity: 2
Meaning: Parameters for the LP have been sent to the LP and no acknowl-
edgment has been received. The LP is not communicating with the
PPM.
Action: Re-IPL the node. If the error persists, contact Cabletron Systems
Technical Support . (See page 21-7.)

Parameter message sent to inactive LP “n”
Severity: 2
Meaning: The LP is missing or has not undergone IPL.
Action: Verify that the LP is supposed to be active, then install the LP
or re-IPL the node, if desired.
30.
Cumulative Statistics file is “n” Mbytes
Severity: 4
Meaning: Self-explanatory.
31.
No LPs are requesting IPL
Severity: 1
Meaning: The PPM is not communicating with the LPs.
Action: Make sure that at least one LP is installed. If you still get this
message, contact
Cabletron Systems Technical Support .

Configuration table not loading
Severity: 1
Meaning: The configuration table, sent by the INM/NMP software to the
packet processor in the node, was not properly received during IPL.
An automatic re-IPL will be initiated.
Action: If this message occurs again, contact Cabletron Systems Technical
Support . (See page 21-7.)
