FRX8000 3. 0 User G uide, Rev 02
Meaning:
The software has determined that a port is set to run at an illegal line
speed (throughput class).
Action:
This is probably a configuration error. Check the Port record and
change the throughput class, if necessary.

Node “n”, LP “n”, Port “n” trunk established to Node “n”
Severity:
4
Meaning:
A physical connection has been established between the specified
port and a neighboring node. After an initialization period, used to
collect routing information, the trunk will be used to route traffic.
225.
Node “n”, LP “n”, Port “n” trunk down – cause “n”
Severity:
3
Meaning:
A physical connection that existed between the specified port and a
neighboring node has just become unusable. A trunk can go down as
a result of a break in the physical connection, or because the neigh-
boring node has a problem.
Cause Description
2
Failed (level 1 is down)
4
Level 2 has dropped, and the trunk process was notified
that the trunk port is no longer operational. This can be
caused by a level 2 link recovery attempting to correct a
line failure.
5
Trunk was taken down by the routing process because the
remote end did not correctly acknowledge the routing
packets. This usually means that the trunk has stopped
passing data in one direction, so the node that detected the
problem brought the trunk down.
6
Disabled by operator action (disable port)
Action:
None.
226.
Group call from “n” to “n” not connected – cause “n” diag “n”
Severity:
4
Meaning:
A group call was made, but number “n” did not receive the message.
It could be that the line is down or the node is just not reachable. The
cause and diagnostic codes are standard X.25 codes.
(See
Appendix D
.)
228.
PIA Link is up
Severity:
3
Meaning:
The PIA link between the 7400/7500 and its attached NMP is up.
229.
PIA Link is down
Severity:
3
Meaning:
The PIA link between the 7400/7500 and its attached NMP is down.
Action:
Check the hardware.
