Severity: 3
Meaning: No ports on LP “n” have records in the Port file.
Action: Create the necessary Port records.

Node “n” is reachable
Severity: 4
Meaning: Self-explanatory.

Node “n” is not reachable
Severity: 1
Meaning: The logging task received a message from the PPM indicating that
the node cannot be reached.
Action: The trunk connecting your node to node “n” has gone down. Some
possible reasons and courses of action are:

A trunk port may be disabled. Enable it.
●
Check the trunk telco line – it may be down.
●
The LP at either node may be out of service or the node itself
