Files configured from this menu are:

Network Defaults
(see page 4-2) – node and X.25 level-3 parameters that the
network needs for proper operation of FRX8000s.
●
Network Representation
(see page 4-9) – allows creation of a graphic map of
your network.
●
Async PAD parameters
(described in Chapter 13) – used to define the operation
of async devices connected to async PAD ports in FRX8000s.
●
IPX Filter Definitions
(described in Chapter 15) – used to maximize efficiency
on a WAN network connected via an FRX8000 to a Novell Netware network.
Filters are applied to IPX traffic as defined by IPX Applications records.
●
Frame Relay Bandwidth Allocation
(described on page 8-2) – optimizes frame
relay bandwidth use, ensuring that response time-sensitive traffic gets access to
the available bandwidth.
