ranges. Select Flag to generate a P (positive) or N (negative)
flags for DAU tests.
Sex
Select a box (1-6) to enter gender specific normal reference
ranges
Age L (Year/Month)
Enter the youngest age (year and month) to generate an L flag.
Age H (Year/Month)
Enter the oldest age (year and month0 to generate an H flag.
L
Enter the lowest reference range based upon the gender and
age entered.
H
Enter a generic reference range (if boxes 1-6 are not defined) to
generate an H or L flag.
None Selected
Enter a generic reference range (if boxes 1-6 are not defined) to
generate an H or L flag.
Out of Range
A generic range used if boxes 1-6 are programmed and the
patient demographic information does not match any of the
gender and age specific ranges.
Panic Value
A critical range. Any sample exceeding this range generates an
audible alarm and a “p” flag.
Unit
The unit of measurement for a test.
Decimal Places
Enter 0 for results to print without a decimal point. Enter 1 to 4
to set the appropriate decimal place for the results.
When all parameters are entered, press function key F2 (exit). Parameters are set. Press
function key F2 (Exit) again to return to the main menu.
