Description:

Use this screen to define test names (regular allows five characters, long allows 20 characters)

and reagent barcode numbers. Calculated tests can be named and set as a calculated test.

Use this software screen to:
Program a new test:

For procedures, refer to "Programming a New Test" located in the Basic Operations Chapter.

Note

Do not change the test name without noting the time and date the change occurred. If the test name is

changed it will affect all test results retrospectively with that test number. Consequently, any previously

reported results (with the old name) will be assigned the new test name. Use extreme caution when

making any changes to the test name and all recorded changes.

"Test Name" tab (Enter test names):

For procedures, refer to "Programming a New Test" located in the Basic Operations Chapter.

Assign a test name to a test number. Test numbers 96 through 99 cannot be modified.

"Long Name" tab (Enter long test names):

For each individual analysis test, a long test name can be added in addition to the abbreviated

test name.

1. In the [Test Name] screen, select the "Long Name" tab.

The [Long Name] screen is

displayed.

2. Press function key F4 (set).
