Tip
The “Check for all positions” function also checks reagent lot numbers. An alarm will occur if: 1. A
different R1 and R2 reagent lot number is used from those used for reagent blank or calibration. 2. If
different R1 and R2 reagent lot numbers are mixed for the same analysis item. If this occurs, use the
same lot number of R1 and R2 reagents.
If these problems are not corrected, accurate analysis results
cannot be obtained.
Reagent Check Options:
A. Reset Only: Use if the refrigerator doors are opened after a check has been performed.
This option resets the system to “checked” status without actually performing a check.
B. Check for Select Position: Use to specify that only one or more specific R1 or R2
positions are to be checked.
C. Check for Changed Position (with ID): If barcoded reagents have been moved since
the last reagent volume check, a new volume check will be performed on moved R1 or
R2 bottles only.
D. Check for all Positions: Use to check all reagent positions.
9. Press function key F2 (exit) twice.
The main screen returns.
Notes for Using Reagent Bottles without Reagent ID Labels
If the color of the reagent bottle is very light, there is a possibility that it will not be detected
properly by the sensor. If the bottle is not detected correctly, apply a label to the reagent bottle
as shown below. If stains or condensation occur on the label, a barcode read error may occur.
