Checking Analysis Conditions
Select the [System Status] icon during analysis to check the current status of the analyzer,
reagents, DPR, ISE and STAT table. Data can be displayed on the screen, the alarm list can
be viewed and printed and cuvette status can be displayed.
Processing Priority or Emergency Samples
STAT samples can be processed by interrupting normal analysis. In this case, use the STAT
table (priority) or red rack (emergency) before the normal samples. There are three methods
for processing STAT samples:
Processing priority samples using the STAT table: One-touch mode •
Processing priority samples using the STAT table: Press the STAT test button in the •
normal analysis mode.
Processing emergency samples using the red rack. Processing can be performed as a •
different sample type (E) ahead of routine samples.
Stop Operation
If analysis must be stopped in progress, press the stop function key on the screen or the Stop/
Standby key on the keyboard. The analysis operation will come to a complete stop.
Emergency Stop
If all power to the system must be turned off, press the Emergency Stop Button labeled “EM
Stop.” Refer to the Troubleshooting Chapter for the correct method of performing an EM
Stop.
Pausing Analysis
During analysis, you might run out of reagent. If this occurs, use Pause on the screen or
keyboard. The system can finish analyzing the current tests and then pause analysis. Press
Start to resume analysis after loading reagents and performing a reagent volume check. No
test results will be lost.
Stopping the Rack Feed Unit
During analysis, to insert a rack for an emergency sample, use the Feeder Stop key on the
keyboard or icon on screen.
