-F5 (Check Start) Perform a reagent volume check:
For information about performing a reagent volume check, refer to “Starting the AU2700”
located in the Basic Operations Chapter.
F6 (Edit) Set (Fix) a reagent position:
For procedures, refer to the Basic Operations Chapter “How to Set (fix) a Reagent Position.”
Caution
If a reagent position is edited, perform a reagent check using the “Check All Positions” (with ID read)
option.
F6 (Edit) Other Operations:
Use this key to change the remaining amount of reagent for R1 and R2.
Caution
If a reagent position is edited, perform a reagent check using the “Check All Positions” (with ID read)
option.
Note
: If the system is paused during a measure mode, the following fields cannot be edited: Test
name, bottle size, lot number, bottle number, and reagent ID/fixed reagent. This function key
displays a dialog box with the following prompts:
Position (left box)
R1 displays for the first reagent compartment and R2 displays for the second reagent
compartment.
Position (right box)
The position number set in the [Reagent Status] screen displays.
<<, >> Buttons
Changes the position number displayed. The position number can also be changed by using
keyboard functions (Shift key + Page Down = << button, Shift key + Page Up = >> button).
Type
Displays the sample type: serum, urine or other.
Use Reagent ID/Fixed Reagent Options:
Use reagent ID tells the system to identify the reagent by the barcode label on the bottle.
Fixed reagent tells the system that a certain reagent will be placed in a certain location in the
reagent compartments.
Test
Select a test from the pull-down menu.
B
ox to the right of “Test”
If a reagent is used for two test items, the second test item name of the reagent to be edited is
displayed. Nothing will display if a single reagent is not used for two tests.
Vol (mL)
Use this field to set the remaining amount of reagent within a range of 0 to 999 mL.
Onboard Stability
Use this field to display the number of days that a reagent is stable within a range of 1 to 999
(Set in “Onboard Stability Period” [Parameters], [Specific Test Parameters].
Reset Button
Resets the onboard stability date to the number of days set in the “Onboard Stability Period”
field in [Parameters], [Specific Test Parameters] are reset also.
Calibration Stability
Use this field to display the number of days that a calibration is effective within a range of 1
to 999 (Set in [Parameters], [Calibration], [Calibration Specific].
