Reporting Repeat Results or Original Results
Repeat results can be programmed to overwrite original results automatically, or the operator can
select whether to use the original result or the repeat result. An “S” flag will be attached to data that
is repeated and the original result is overwritten with the repeat result. The “S” flag will display on
reprinted data from the AU2700, or data that is batch transferred to a host computer.
There are two main fields in [Parameters] that affect final results:
[Parameters], [Repeat Parameters], [Repeat Common], “Repeat Data Overwrite”:
“Yes”: The automatic overwrite option is on.
•
“No”: The automatic overwrite option is off.
•
[Parameters], [Repeat Parameters], [Repeat Specific], “Auto Rewrite”:
“Yes”: Automatically overwrite the original data with repeat data for the specified test, if the
•
automatic overwrite option is on.
“No”: The original data will not be automatically overwritten for the specified test.
•
How to Automatically Overwrite Original Results with Repeat Results:
1. In the [Parameters], [Repeat Parameters], [Repeat Common] screen, the “Repeat Data
Overwrite” field must be selected. A check in the box indicates that “Auto Rewrite” will be
performed. If it is not checked, an “Auto Rewrite” will not be performed.
How to Manually Overwrite Original Results with Repeat Results:
1. In the [Parameters], [Repeat Parameters], [Repeat Common] screen, the “Repeat Data
Overwrite” field can be selected to manually overwrite all original data. Press function key
F4 (set), then select the check box by this field. Press function key F2 (exit) twice.
2. After repeat analysis is complete, print a repeat list. Select [Routine], [Data Management],
[Repeat Data Verification]. In the “Report Data List No” field, located at the bottom of the
screen, use the pull-down menu to select a list. This is a list of the original sample results and
repeat sample results for comparison. Determine which tests will need to be overwritten with
repeat results. Press function key F3 (print).
3. From the [Repeat Data Verification] screen, select the repeat run sample type to be
overwritten. Enter the range of sample numbers requiring data overwrite.
4.
To overwrite by sample number: Use the pull-down menu by the “test name” field to select
any original test results to be overwritten with the repeat result. The original sample and
repeat sample with test results can be viewed one sample at a time. Select function key F5
(rewrite). The data should now have an “S” flag to indicate the test was repeated, and the
original result overwritten with the repeat result.
