Use this software screen to:
Perform a calibration verification:
Standard material can be run on the analyzer, and variance from the true values calculated. Up
to three replicates of each test level can be plotted on a graph and the variance from the known
standard materials displayed.
1. Run the standard material in routine racks.
2. Select [Auxiliary], [Calibration Verification].
3. Select an index using the pull-down menu located by the index field.
4. Select the test name and sample type from the pull-down menu located by each field.
5. Select the "Material Prm." tab.
6. Press function key F4 (set). Click on the level check box, then enter an expected value
and tolerance. Refer to the package insert for values and tolerance.
7. Press function key F5 (material edit).
A window appears.
Enter the standard material
name, material ID, expiration date, and lot number. Select "Close."
8. Select function key F2 (exit).
9. Select the "Select Sample" tab. Enter the sample number or sample ID for the first level
of samples. Repeat as many times as necessary.
10. Select function key F5 (display chart). A graph of the observed vs. expected values
displays with all specified levels on a single graph. The symbols above the graph identify
each replicate result. The acceptable tolerance is indicated by a vertical bar on the graph.
Numerical values of expected values, observed values, and tolerance display for the first
replicate.
11. Use the material number button </> to change the display of the numerical values to the
second and third replicates.
Note
"Change Mtr. No." is actually changing the replicate number that displays. Up to three replicates
display.
Options
:
1. Function key F5 (analyst initial): Allows the operator to enter their name or initials on
the graph.
2. Function key F6 (note edit): Allows the operator to enter a "note" or comment on the
graph.
