Display

Description:

The twin plot chart displays QC points using their standard deviation from the mean as the axis 

units.  A display of two controls on one graph, using a separate axis for each, is generated. 

The chart displays a pair of multi-rule QC samples.  The values for the first control are listed on 

the X-axis and the values for the second control are listed on the Y-axis.  The coordinates are 

determined by the standard deviation from the mean of each control.  The number of points are 

divided into equal groups of three.  The first group is plotted using a plus (+), the second group 

a square, and the last group an X.  The box in the center indicates the 2SD range.  All points 

should fall within the box.  The Mean and SD for each control is displayed. 
Index (left box):  Use the pull-down menu to select the beginning date and time of the range to 

be searched. 
Index (right box):  Use the pull-down menu to select the ending date and time of the range to be 

searched. 
Type:  The sample type can be changed to serum, urine, or other.  Select the sample type from 

the pull-down menu.
Test - List:  Use the mouse to deselect and select tests.
