Start numbers for the “other” sample type can be entered for Routine, Emergency, and STAT.
They can be selected for normal and repeat-run analysis.
Calibration
Indicates whether a test was requisitioned for calibrators by stating “selected” or “not
selected.”
Remaining samples
Shows how many more samples can be saved (8,000 max.) under the current index date and
time.
Use this software screen to:
Start Analysis:
Refer to the Basic Operations Chapter “Starting the AU2700” for detailed procedures.
Change start conditions:
A data index can hold up to 8,000 samples. Three rounds of tests can be programmed, with up
to 51 tests. The 51 tests include 48 photometric and 3 ISE tests. Sample types include: routine,
serum, urine, and other; priority STATs, emergency STATs, and repeats.
1. After pressing “Power On,” the [Start Condition] screen will appear. To change the data
index, select function key F4 (set), then select function key F8 (data index). A new index
can be created with the current date and time, or existing indexes can be accessed. Enter
the date and time. Click “OK” using your mouse. The [Start Condition] screen can also
be selected from [Routine], [Start Condition].
2. Select function key F2 (exit) twice if no other items need to be changed.
F4: Set:
New start conditions can be set up, or existing conditions can be modified.
1. Press function key F4 (set). The cursor will appear.
2. Set the appropriate start conditions. “Remaining samples” and “calibration” cannot be
changed.
3. After completing the setup, press function key F2 (exit). The changes are saved.
After pressing F4: Set, the following function keys appear:
F7: Default Start Number (Sub-screen of F4: Set):
