Chapter C - Basic Operations

4. Place the sample in a correct position (STAT and sample type) on the table.

If STATs are

not barcoded, they must be placed in increasing numerical order on the table.

Warning

Close the STAT table cover after placing samples. A consistent temperature in the STAT table is

important to the accuracy of your results.

5. Press the STAT button to start STAT analysis.

The End LED turns on when STAT sample

aspiration is complete. Remove STATs from the table when the End LED is On.

Caution

Do not open and close the STAT table cover unless necessary. The temperature in the STAT table

may increase depending on the frequency of opening and closing the STAT table cover due to setting

emergency samples.
Dew condensation may occur in the STAT table or on the sample cups. If any dew condensation is

found, wipe it off with a paper towel. Condensation may be generated under high-temperature and high-

humidity environmental.
Remove all samples from the STAT table when the END LED is lit before placing new samples on the

STAT table.
