The following diagram shows alarm label locations and provides an explanation

of the symbols.

Alarm Label Outline

Alarm labels” are attached to analyzer parts requiring special safety considerations.

Please use the system safely and correctly according to the following instructions.

Do not remove the contents of “Alarm labels” carelessly, and do not damage or remove

“Alarm labels.”

Please contact the Beckman Coulter Technical Services if "Alarm labels” have become

illegible or if the labels have come off.

The contents of the “Alarm labels” are classified according to color.

Do not touch (prevention against injury)

Warning

While the system is operating, do not touch the moving parts. These include the sample probe,

reagent probes, mix bars, wash stations, and rack feed unit. Do not insert your finger or hand in

an opening.
To replace the photometer lamp, follow the procedures in “Chapter F, Maintenance.”

•

Do not touch the lamp before it is cool or you may be burned.
Observe the precautions on the analyzer labels and in this manual.

•

For information about precautions regarding the printer, refer to the operator's manual supplied

•

with the printer.
