Use this screen to create a password, or change a password. This screen is activated in
[Parameters], [System], [Login Name].
Use this software screen to:
Set up passwords:
A password system can be set up and customized for your laboratory requirements. All
submenus have the ability to be selectively password protected.
1. Select [Parameters], [System], [Password]. If the log-in function is disabled, the
password screen will not display.
Note
If [Parameter], [System], [Password] is selected and the message "This menu can't be selected" appears,
the [Parameters], [Login Name] and checkbox at Login Function have not been programmed. These
items must be programmed BEFORE [Password] can be accessed.
2. Enter the old password. If this is the first time a password is entered, just press the enter
key.
3. In the "New Password" field, type in your new password (20 characters maximum).
4. Enter the same password in the "confirm" field and press enter.
5. Select function key F2 (exit). The new password is set, if the old and new passwords
were typed consistently.
