2.5.4 Performing Priority STAT Analysis
1. Requisition the td{¨s:
A. From the main menu, select [Routine], [Test Requisition], [Normal]. The screen for
requisitioning normal analysis is displayed.

B. From the “Type” pull-down menu select: serum, urine or other.
C. Verify the sample number is correct for the next sample number to be processed
on the AU2700. Type a “P” to test emergency samples on the STAT table. Use
function key F8 (S. No.) to select a specific sample number.
D. Press function key F4 (start entry).
E. First, select tests individually, by profile, or batch. If requisitions are required for
more than one sample type, select function key F2 (exit) to return to “Type.”
Individually •
: Highlight the tests to be performed in blue by clicking them with
your mouse. Tests highlighted grey are not operational for the sample type selected.
Profile: •
Click on the profile button to open the “select profile window.” Select a
profile number (1-99) and click “OK.”
Batch: • Press function key F3 (Xn-enter). Enter the last sample number of the
batch, or enter the actual number of samples in the batch.
2. Look at the Set LED. If it is off, press the STAT button to turn on the Set LED. Do not
load samples if the Set LED blinks or does not come on. The Set LED turns on when
loading is possible.
3. Select [System Status], [Stat Table Status] to determine where STATs can be loaded on
the table. Press the STAT Rotation/Diag button to turn the table if necessary.
