Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Beckman Coulter AU2700 automated chemistry analyzer. This

manual is intended for operators who have completed the training course offered by Beckman

Coulter, or operators who have been trained by those who have taken the Beckman Coulter

training course.

Please read this manual carefully to understand instructions before operating

the system. The following information describes how this manual is structured:

Volume I: Precautions, System Outline, Basic Operations, and Software

Document Change Notification Sheet

This sheet lists all updates of the manual and corresponding software changes.

Chapter A Precautions and Installation Environments

This chapter describes necessary precautions and restrictions when using the system. It also

describes installation environments, standard accessories, and caution labels.

Chapter B System Outline

This chapter explains system features, system configuration, basic screen operation, and

system use.

Chapter C Basic Operations

This chapter is designed as a quick response section providing easy to follow basic operating

procedures. It contains the following information: easy steps to prepare for and start

analysis, how to obtain results and an operation flowchart. It also describes other frequently

used procedures performed during daily routine operations.

This chapter describes the functions and operations related to each software screen.
