Only samples that are appended with all of the selected abnormal data symbols will be extracted
as repeat-run samples.
From the "Group" tab set:
Deciding Test and Related Test: The operator is allowed to set one "deciding" analysis test and
related tests.
For example:
If ALB and TP are set to the deciding test and the related test, respectively, and if the ALB is
necessary for a repeat run, then the TP will be necessary for a repeat run also.
A maximum of 10 sets of a deciding test and a related test can be set. To leave the field blank,
enter a space. Also, analysis tests that do not have a test name or have been assigned to the
inter-test calculation cannot be specified as a deciding test or related test.
Use this software screen to:
Set repeat run parameters:
1. Select [Parameters], [Repeat Parameters], [Repeat Common].
2. Press function key F4 (set).
A cursor appears in the “Auto Repeat” field.
3. Set auto repeat, repeat data overwrite, and select an error flag.
4. When the above parameters are set, select the "Group" tab.
5. Set a deciding test and related test.
6. After the setting is completed, press function key F2 (exit).
Parameters will be saved.
Perform "Reflex Testing"
Reflex testing is the ability to repeat a test, whether it was requisitioned in the original run or
not, based on another test generating a repeat flag. For example, if the TBIL fell outside of the
dynamic range, you might want to repeat DBIL even if DBIL did not flag in the original run.
Up to 10 sets of tests can be programmed as "reflex tests."
1. Select [Parameters], [Repeat Parameters], [Repeat Common].
2. Select the "Group" tab.
3. Select function key F4 (set). Select the "deciding test." When the "deciding test" generates
a repeat flag, the related tests can be repeated.
4. Ten related tests can be selected. Related tests are the items to be repeated if the deciding
test generates a repeat flag. After the set-up is complete, select function key F2 (exit).
Tip
Tests that do not have a test name, or have been assigned to the inter-item calculation test, cannot be
selected as a deciding test or related test.
