Delete QC data:
Exclude QC data from statistical calculation by adding a "d" flag to the results. The "d" flags do
not erase the data, but exclude it from any evaluation.
1. Select [Routine], [QC Monitor], [Data Edit].
2. At "Index" select the index to delete QC.
3. At "Test Name" select All or a specific test to delete.
4. Enter the QC Sample No., or "*" to delete from the entire range displayed.
5. Press F5 (Data Display).
To delete selected QC tests, do the following:
1. Move the cursor to the test to delete.
2. Press F5 (Edit Result).
3. Enter a ü by "Flag".
4. Enter the "d" flag. Select the close button.
5. Press F2 (Exit).
To delete all tests of the displayed QC sample number, do the following:
1. Press F8 (Delete). A prompt appears to "Delete all tests."
2. Click OK. A "d" flag appears on all tests of the displayed QC sample number.
3. Press F2 (Exit).
Adding Comments to QC Data:
Adding an index comment: An index comment is registered on the index date and time as
needed. For example, if the photometer lamp is replaced, or if a reagent probe is replaced, a
comment specifying this activity can be added by pressing function key F6 (index comment).
Enter the comment, then select OK.
Adding a test comment: A comment is added to a specific control sample. For example, if a
reagent bottle or QC sample is replaced, a comment specifying this activity can be added by
pressing function key F7 (test comment). Enter the comment, then select OK.
