Chapter D - Software

Automated Chemistry Analyzer

AU2700 User's Guide

May, 2002

Remaining Samples:  Displays the number of remaining samples that can be registered.
Round No.:  Displays the current round number and name.
“Test Total” button:  This option lists the total number of samples for which analysis was

performed for individual tests.
“Search ID” button: This option searches a sample by sample ID rather than by sample

number. This option works only if the “Sample ID” field is selected in [Parameters], [Format],

[Requisition Format].
Sample ID: The sample ID can be used when the check box is selected in [Parameters],

[Format], [Requisition Format]. If barcodes are being used, a barcode is set as a sample ID. To

enable the system to use barcode labels, they must be set in [Parameters], [System], [System].

Profile: A profile is a file in which analysis tests are preset according to categories such as

electrolytes. Profiles are setup in [Parameters], [Common Test Parameters], [Profile]. By

selecting the profile option, you can requisition tests in a batch rather than individually.

Sex: Sex can be set when it is selected in the [Parameters], [Format], [Requisition Format]

screen.
Age and Month: Age and Month can be set when it is selected in the [Parameters], [Format],

[Requisition Format] screen.
Test: A maximum of 51 tests (with ISE) can be selected for 1 sample. Use function key F5

(change test) to display another list of test items.
Sample Dilution Rate: Select function key F7 (sample dilution). Enter a sample dilution

ratio from 1 to 999. If an off-line dilution is performed, the printed result is corrected for this

dilution.
