Display Format: Entering or Selecting Functions
View the screen to determine how an item should be selected. If a button on screen is concave,
an item cannot be selected or entered. If a button is convex, it is possible to enter or select
an item. If the "Start Load" or "Setup" function is selected, the corresponding buttons on
screen will change from concave to convex to enable entry or selection. A color change is also
associated with entry or selection.
Selecting Screen Item(s)
To select items on screen, the following two methods are available:
Selecting one item
This method is used to select one item (test, etc.) from the displayed list. It is used if the
tests are processed sequentially one by one.
For example, if changing the type of each sample
(serum, urine, etc.), move the cursor onto the type to be set in the sample type list, then press
the Enter key. The test on which the cursor is placed will be set.
Selecting multiple items by batch
This method is used to select multiple items (test, etc.) from the displayed list. It is used
if multiple items are batch-processed.
For example, if printing reports for routine samples,
emergency samples, etc., select the sample to print, then execute batch-processing for report
printout. Use the spacebar to select an item. The selected item appears in a different color
from that of the one that is not selected. If using the mouse, click the left mouse button to
highlight or remove the highlight from a selection.
