D. The “AND mode” will requisition a repeat only if all flags selected are generated on a
test.
E. The “Condense” category increases the sample volume for a repeat run.
8. If you want to set up specific test repeat ranges: Select [Parameters], [Repeat
Parameters], [Repeat Specific]. Enter a range at the “Repeat Decision Level” to generate
J (above the range) and K (below the range) flags.
9. If you want to perform a dilution, select [Parameters], [Repeat Parameters], [Repeat
Specific]. Enter a smaller sample volume than the programmed volume (displayed from
[Specific Test Parameters]) at the “Diluted Sample Volume” field.
10. Reset reagent status. Since parameters were changed it will reset back to a Red,
unchecked status.
11. Press Start.
The rack LED, by the rack supply belt, blinks to warn the belt is about to move.
•
If a space is detected after a reagent blank, calibration, or QC rack is detected, the
•
analyzer goes into Measure 2. Press the Start key/icon to start additional racks.
If a space is detected after a routine or emergency rack, the analyzer stays in
•
Measure 1. To start additional racks, press the Rev./Diag button. The belt reverses
two spaces. Load the first rack one space in front of the rack detection sensor. The
belt advances one space and detects the rack, then continues rack advancement.
The analyzer goes into Measure 2 when the last repeat rack goes past the sensors on
•
the rack buffer belt. Press the Start key/icon to start additional racks.
The analyzer returns to Standby when all normal and repeat analysis is complete.
•
12. Repeat samples will have an “H” prefix on the data printout. For example, routine
samples will print as H0001 and urine samples will print as HU001.

located in this section. For information about starting analysis, refer to the “Starting Analysis” section

Results” located in this section.
Tip
In this mode you can: repeat STATS on the STAT table: print a repeat list, move any P STAT that needs
to repeat to a position designated for STAT serum, urine or other repeat. (If no barcode is used, place in
numerical order and remove when finished or concordance errors can occur.)
