6. Select “Yes” at the prompt using your mouse. The specified range of sample information
will be deleted.
7. Set the sample number to the first sample number deleted. Use your mouse to click
on the arrow buttons by the sample number field or click in the field to type a specific
number.
F7: Online (Download requisitions from a host computer):
Refer to the Basic Operations Chapter “Downloading Requisitions from a Host Computer” for
procedures.
Display the total number of samples requisitioned:
The total number of samples requisitioned per test can be displayed as a list.
1. Select [Routine], [Test Requisition], [Normal].
2. Select the “Test Total” button located on the upper right portion of the screen. The total
number of samples will be displayed in a list.
3. After viewing, press the “Close” button. The window will close.
“Demographics” Tab (Display/enter patient demographics):
Sample No.: Enter the sample number in this field. To enter new sample information be sure
to enter a new sample number. If information needs to be corrected on a particular sample,
enter the number of the sample to be edited.
For emergency samples:
Enter an “E” before the
number. Emergency samples are performed in the red rack. For priority samples: Enter a “P”
before the number. Priority samples are performed on the STAT table.
Patient Information 1 to 6: Displays patient information setup in [Parameters], [Format],
[Requisition Format].
Comment Button: This button activates a dialog box listing comments from the master comment
file. Move the cursor to a comment to be used, then select the “OK” button.
Text box to the right of the “Comment” button: Enter any desired comment in this box within
100 characters.
1. Select [Routine], [Test Requisition], [Normal].
2. Use your mouse to click on the “Demographics” tab located below the menu bar.
The
[Demographics] screen will be displayed.
3. Enter sex, age, demographics, and comment(s).
Tips
To setup the patient information of other samples, do the following:
A. Press function key F4 (start entry). B. Press function key F8 (s. no.).
A window appears to select
the sample number and sample type . C. Select “OK” to save changes.
4. After the entry is completed, press function key F4 (entry). The setting contents are
saved and the next sample number will be displayed.
