Warning about high temperature (prevention against burns)
Warning
To replace the photometer lamp, follow the procedures in “Chapter F, Maintenance.”
Do not touch the lamp before it is cool or you may be burned.

Laser beam warning (Use eye protection)
Warning
The photometer lamp is lit while the system is on. Do not look into the lamp or the laser beam from the
barcode reader. Direct light from the photometer lamp or from the laser beam of the barcode reader may
result in eye damage. Do not stare into the laser beam or view directly with optical instruments.
Background colors of pictograms
Orange: Warning
This is used when there is the possibility that severe injuries can occur.
Blue: Caution
Indicates that the operator should exercise care to prevent personal injury, physical damage,
and serious adverse effect on analysis results. It also indicates biohazards. Personal injury is
referred to as injuries such as mild burns and electric shock that do not require hospitalization
or extensive medical attention. Physical damage is referred to as damage to the analyzer, the
building and its contents.
Displays other than warning labels
The following pictograms are used to represent buttons and the breaker unit.

Strip labels (Orange):
Used to indicate the stroke area of particularly dangerous moving parts
on the control panels. Do not place your hands or face close to this area.
Instruction Labels:
Provides information on the correct handling of the instrument. If
instructions are not followed, system damage may occur because of incorrect handling.
