Chapter C - Basic Operations

Automated Chemistry Analyzer

AU2700 User's Guide

May, 2002

1. Remove the STAT table cover (small).
2. Set the emergency sample cup in place on the STAT table. Rotate the STAT table by pressing the

STAT ROTATION/DIAG switch until the sample cup setup position appears within the accessible
range, if necessary.

When the SET LED turned off, press the STAT test switch to turn on the SET LED and use the

STAT ROTATION/DIAG switch.

Tip

When the SET LED was not lit, it may take a maximum of one minute for the LED to light. At this time,

the END LED will be not lit. Please go immediately to step 3 when the SET LED has lit. Leaving the

equipment with the END LED not lit will result in pause state and the emergency samples will not be

analyzed.

3. Remount the STAT table cover (small).
4. Press the STAT test switch.

• When no error has occurred, analysis will start and the SET LED and the END LED will go out.
• When an error has occurred, an error message and the error contents will be displayed. In this

case, confirm the displayed error contents and take the required measures. Afterwards, press the

STAT inspection switch again. Analysis of the emergency samples will start.

When special STAT reagent is used, the analysis result will be put out as a list from the printer

seven minutes after start of analysis.

5.  Check that the sample has been aspired.
  If the sample aspiration has been completed, the SET LED and END LED turn on.
  When the SET LED and END LED is turned off, press the STAT test switch to turn on the SET

LED.

6.  If the SET LED and END LED turn on, remove the STAT table cover (small).
7.  Take out the emergency sample cup where the sample aspiration is complete.
8.  Remount the STAT table cover (small).
