Description:
Use this screen to display information regarding the amount of reagent used for each test and the
type of sample. Print or save to FD bi-weekly or monthly reports on reagent usage to send to
Beckman Coulter.
Left Index Box:
Select a starting index to calculate reagent usage.
Right Index Box:
Select an ending range for review by using the pull-down menu.
Type:
Use the pull-down menu to select serum, urine, or other.
Serum, Urine, Other, Routine, Emergency, STAT:
Select the sample type by clicking on the
check box next to the type.
Repeat:
Shows reagent information for reagents used in repeat-run tests.
QC:
Shows reagent information for reagents used in QC tests.
Calibration:
Shows reagent information for reagents used in calibration tests.
Reagent Blank:
Shows reagent information for reagents used in reagent blank tests.
Total:
Displays the total number of tests remaining for each sample type.
Samples:
Displays the total number of samples for each sample type.
Use this software screen to:
Calculate reagent usage:
1. Select [Auxiliary], [Reagent Consumption].
2. Select the index, start date, end date, and sample type by using the pull-down menu
located by each field.
3. To check the reagent volume, press function key F5 (reagent volume). The quantity of
reagent assigned to R1 displays.
