Description:
This screen displays when the system is started. Use this screen to set the following: index date and
time, round number, operator name, and start number. The operator can change start conditions, confirm
calibration, confirm QC, calibrator samples, and rack position.
Tips
Analysis cannot begin while the [Start Condition] screen is open. Start conditions cannot be changed in
a measure 1 mode; however, they can be changed in Standby.
Data index
A data index is a data file used to store analyzer data. Usually, one data file is used per day or
per shift. This is a main search key for analyzed data. Enter a year, month, date and time in
the format according to the displayed message.
You can also use the pull-down menu by the
date index field to select from a list of dates and times.
Round No
A round is a group of user defined tests. Set, for example, chemistry tests to Round 1, and
drugs to Round 2.
This allows the operator to be engaged in daily routine work under Round
1, and easily switch to drug analysis, if desired, by simply switching to Round 2. Use the
pull-down menu located by the “Round Number” field. Three different rounds can be created
in [Parameters].
Operator name
Any operator name can be entered using a maximum of 20 characters.
Serum Start No.: Serum start numbers can be entered for each of the samples classified as
Routine, Emergency, and STAT. They can be selected for normal and repeat-run analysis.
