Entering Data or Modifying the Setting on the Screen
The following three methods are available for entering data or modifying the setting on the
screen.
Tip
To load the entered data, always press the Enter key after entry. If the arrow keys, or another key is
pressed without pressing the Enter key, the entered data may not be saved.
Entering the data directly
Move the cursor to a field, press the appropriate key on the keyboard to enter information
directly. After entry, press the Enter key. The data is loaded and the cursor moves to the next
field.
Selecting options from a pull-down menu
A pull-down menu lists options which can be selected. To use a pull-down menu, move
the cursor to a field that displays an inverted triangle. Press the space key or click the left
mouse button. The options for that field appear. To make your selection, use the up or
down arrow key located on your keyboard. When the cursor is on the selection of your
choice, press enter. If using a mouse, click the left mouse button. Your selection appears in
that field.
