Before using this product, carefully read the sections entitled “USING THE PRODUCT SAFELY” and “IMPORTANT NOTES.” These
sections provide important information concerning the proper operation of the product. Additionally, in order to feel assured that
you have gained a good grasp of every feature of your new product, Owner’s Manual should be read in its entirety. This manual
should be saved and kept on hand as a convenient reference.

This product can be used as a setting mat for the V-Drums, the
V-Drums Lite, the SPD series, the HandSonic series, and the RMP

WARNING
Do not use or store in the following types of locations
• Subject to temperature extremes (e.g., direct
sunlight in an enclosed vehicle, near a heating duct,
on top of heat-generating equipment); or are
• Damp (e.g., baths, washrooms, on wet floors); or are
• Exposed to steam or smoke; or are
• Subject to salt exposure; or are
• Humid; or are
• Exposed to rain; or are
• Dusty or sandy; or are
• Subject to high levels of vibration and shakiness.
Do not use for other purposes
This product is designed to be used exclusively with
Roland products. Do not use this product for other
purposes or applications.
Do not place in an unstable location
Make sure you always have the product placed so it
is level and sure to remain stable. Never place it on
platforms that could wobble, or on inclined surfaces.
Adults must provide supervision in places where children are present
When using the product in locations where children
are present, be careful so no mishandling of the
product can take place. An adult should always be
on hand to provide supervision and guidance.
Do not use near a fire
Although this product has been treated to resist
fire, do not use this product near a fire.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Placement
• Use this product indoors only.
• Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, place it near
devices that radiate heat, leave it inside an enclosed vehicle,
or otherwise subject it to temperature extremes. Excessive
heat can deform or discolor the product.
• Do not place containers or anything else containing liquid
on top of this product. Also, whenever any liquid has been
spilled on the surface of this product, be sure to promptly
wipe it away.
Maintenance
• For routine cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner to remove any
dust that may have accumulated on the surface. In case of
more serious soiling, use a commercial carpet cleaner to
spot-clean, and wipe to remove stains.
• Do not launder or wash the entire product.
• Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol or solvents of any kind,
to avoid the possibility of discoloration and/or deformation.
Additional Precautions
• This product is not designed to provide total insulation from
sound or vibration.
• This product may move and slip around over the floor when
nothing has yet been placed on top of it. For this reason, you
need to be especially careful during setup, when you carry in
the equipment you intend to place on the product.

USING THE PRODUCT SAFELY
Used for instructions intended to alert the

The symbol alerts the user to things that must be
carried out. The specific thing that must be done is
indicated by the design contained within the circle. In the
case of the symbol at left, it means that the power-cord
plug must be unplugged from the outlet.
The symbol alerts the user to important instructions or
warnings.The specific meaning of the symbol is
determined by the design contained within the triangle. In
the case of the symbol at left, it is used for general
cautions, warnings, or alerts to danger.
The symbol alerts the user to items that must never be
carried out (are forbidden). The specific thing that must
not be done is indicated by the design contained within
the circle. In the case of the symbol at left, it means that
the unit must never be disassembled.
