TRIGger<m>:MODE
<TriggerMode>
Sets the trigger mode which determines the behaviour of the instrument if no trigger
occurs.

<TriggerMode>
AUTO | NORMal | FREerun
AUTO
The instrument triggers repeatedly after a time interval if the trig-
ger conditions are not fulfilled. If a real trigger occurs, it takes
precedence. The time interval depends on the time base.
NORMal
The instrument acquires a waveform only if a trigger occurs.
FREerun
The instrument triggers after a very short time interval - faster
than in AUTO mode. Real triggers are ignored.

TRIGger<m>:FORCe
If the acquisition is running in normal mode and no valid trigger occurs, forcing the trig-
ger provokes an immediate single acquisition. Thus you can confirm that a signal is
available and use the waveform display to determine how to trigger on it.
