Enabling or Disabling Front Panel Actuator Control
The following CLI commands control whether you can turn on or off
connected actuator(s) by operating the front panel LCD display.
To enable the front panel actuator control feature:
config:#
security frontPanelPermissions add switchActuator
To disable the front panel actuator control feature:
config:#
security frontPanelPermissions remove switchActuator
Tip: If your SRC supports multiple front panel permissions, you can
combine them into one command by adding a semicolon (;) between
different permissions. For example, the following CLI command enables
both front panel actuator control and the internal beeper-muting
functions simultaneously.
security frontPanelPermissions add
switchActuator;muteBeeper
Enabling or Disabling Front Panel Beeper-Sound Control
The following CLI commands control whether you can mute the internal
beeper by operating the front panel LCD display when the beeper
sounds.
To enable the front panel beeper sound control feature:
config:#
security frontPanelPermissions add muteBeeper
To disable the front panel actuator control feature:
config:#
security frontPanelPermissions remove muteBeeper
Tip: If your SRC supports multiple front panel permissions, you can
combine them into one command by adding a semicolon (;) between
different permissions. For example, the following CLI command enables
both front panel actuator control and the the internal beeper-muting
functions simultaneously.
security frontPanelPermissions add
switchActuator;muteBeeper
