Sample Asset-Management-Level Event Rule
In this example, we want the SRC to record the connection and
disconnection events of a specific asset tag in the internal log. The event
rule is set like this:
Event: Asset Management > Feature Port 1 > Rack Unit > Index 3 >
Tag Connected
Trigger condition: Both
Actions: System Event Log Action
To create the above event rule:
1.
Select "Asset Management" in the Event field to indicate we are
specifying an event regarding the asset strips and/or tags.
2.
Select "Rack Unit" for events related to rack units (tag ports) of an
asset strip.
3.
Select "Index 3" becasue the desired asset tag is connected to the
tag port #3 of the asset strip.
