7. If the terminal voltage is correct and there is
harness continuity, replace the mass air flow
sensor. (Refer to 0 1 -1 3B INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [KL].)

CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR INSPECTION [KL]
1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor
connector.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals A and
B by using an ohmmeter.

3. If not as specified, check related wiring harness. If
they are okay, replace the camshaft position
sensor.

CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION KL
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor
connector.
3. Remove the timing belt cover and timing belt.
(Refer to 01-10B TIMING BELT
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [KL].)
4. Remove the cylinder head cover. (Refer to
01-1 OB CYLINDER HEAD GASKET
REPLACEMENT [KL].)
5. Hold the camshaft by using a wrench on the cast
hexagon as shown, loosen the camshaft pulley
lock bolt.

6. Remove the camshaft pulley lock bolt.
7. Remove the camshaft pulley.
8. Remove the camshaft position sensor.
LOCK BOLT

9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
