TROUBLESHOOTING [AUDIO]
STEP INSPECTION
ACTION
Turn ignition switch to LOCK.
Disconnect audio unit connector.
Check for continuity between terminal 3A at
audio unit connector of wiring harness and
ground.
Is there continuity?

Yes Equipped without BOSE speaker:
Replace audio unit.
ir 0 9-20 AUDIO UNIT INSTALLATION
Equipped with BOSE speaker:
Go to next step.
No Repair wiring harness between audio unit and ground.
Connect audio unit connector.
Turn ignition switch to ACC.
Measure voltage at terminal 1J at audio unit
connector of wiring harness.
Is voltage B+?
Yes
Go to next step.
No
Replace audio unit.

Remove passenger’s side front seat,
o - 0 9 -1 3 FRONT SEAT
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Turn ignition switch to ACC.
Measure voltage at terminal U at audio
amplifier connector of wiring harness.
Is voltage B+?
Yes Go to next step.
No Repair wiring harness between AUDIO 15 A fuse and
audio amplifier.
