1. Disconnect the engine and transaxle. (Refer to 05-15 TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) (Refer to
0 5 -1 7A TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LA4A-EL].)
2. Remove the intake-air system.
3. Remove the exhaust system.
4. Remove the oil filter. (Refer to 01-11 OIL FILTER, Oil Filter Replacement.)
5. Remove the thermostat. (Refer to 01-12 THERMOSTAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
6. Remove the ignition coil.
7. Remove the generator.
8. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
9. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
