Inspect horn.
Does it sound?
Yes
Go to next step.
No
Inspect connection of clock spring connector (4-pin). If no
concern is found, go to next step. If poor connections are
found, make sure they are securely connected and then
go to step 37.

Perform engine On-Board Diagnosis.
Are following DTCs indicated?

Yes
Repair damaged area by following inspection by
applicable DTC of PCM.
No
Go to next step.

Inspect STOP 15 A fuse and TURN 10 A fuse.
Are they okay?
Yes
Go to next step.

Replace fuse, then go to step 37. If fuse melts immediately
after replacement, then go to step 18, 25, 23, and 31.

Inspect connection of actuator cable to
accelerator pedal and cruise actuator link. Are
they securely and properly connected?
Yes
Go to next step.
No
Connect actuator cable securely and properly, then go to
step 37.

Remove actuator cable on cruise actuator
side.
Hold the end of cruise actuator cable by hand.
Inspect actuator cable operation by
depressing and releasing the accelerator
pedal.
Is it okay?
Yes
Reinstall actuator cable.
Go to next step.
No
Replace actuator cable, then go to step 37.

Inspect actuator cable play.

Adjust the play, then go to step 37.

Inspect brake pedal height and free play on
vehicle.
