SECURITY AND LOCKS
HOOD LOCK AND OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. To remove the hood lock, remove the upper seal
board.
3. To remove the hood release cable, remove the left
side mud guard.
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
6. Adjust the hood lock. (Refer to 0 9 -1 4 HOOD
LOCK ADJUSTMENT.)

1. Verify that the hood can be closed easily and that 3. Tighten the hood lock installation bolts and nut.
